Title: How much CSJ to feed?

leanneh - July 2, 2007 08:54 AM (GMT)
I have contacted CSJ and they are sending me samples to try to move our pup over from BARF to kibble. They were quite vague as to how much you should give - can anyone give me an idea of the quantity of kibble they feed to their dogsz as pups and adults?

Thanks

I feed the CP24, my larger collie gets a heaped scoop and my smaller one gets a level scoop. If they start to put on weight when i first start to feed a new food I reduce it and increase it if they are losing weight until you get to an ideal amount for maintenance.

They do have a feeding guide on the side of the bags so use this as a starting guide and work from there.

Thanks Claire - I asked if there was a feeding guide on the bag but got the impression that there wasn't! Ceri was lovely and really helpful though!

What are you feeding? I fed CSJ Puppy food to my youngster, and was pleased with it - it was the original range, 26% (no longer 31% as on their website) I fed according to the bag and as Claire said adjusted it to suit him.

If you want info, this is their website, and there is a 'contact us' link from there, or ask your supplier:
