black Labrador Retriever, 2 years Bitch - Missing from WA4. registered on 5/10/2007 Ruby ran off during a walk in the Appleton/Stretton area,Cheshire on the 4th October.Ruby is MICROCHIPPED, SPAYED,tagged,small and has a black spot on her tongue. Please look out for her in your area.

Awww hurry home ruby!

sad news everyone. Ruby was found tonight, dead in the field where she went missing. There has been no postmortem as yet but natural causes are suspected. It seems a dog walker found her and has seen one of the posters, so contacted my friend. She is absolutely devastated as you would expect but has some comfort knowing her dog is not out there scared hungry and in pain. Thanks everyone for all the support.If we learn one thing it is that postering the area works, even if the outcome is not we hope for.

Oh my goodness - how tragic and awful - at least your friend knows though :( So many animals just "go missing" very very sad though :(

I am so, so sorry I really am, I just showed lisa this and she basically said that life just takes liberty's with people when it simply is not needed.
I really feel for the owners.

Owh poor dog and owners, so young. all strenght in this bizar time to the owners.
the only comfort is, she was doing what she liked best, running free.
