I just became a member yesterday, so I didn't know that! It's quite a funny trick and Rogie seems to like it as last week I was at agility waiting till it was my turn to go with Rogie and she was hipping with her back legs, so I am just thinking is there something wrong with her and am about to have a look when she throws her back legs in the air and does her handstand....hahahahha She was just practising for herself!

It's the vid in youtube where the BC lifts its back legs up and then just walks forward on it's front legs...not just a handstand. Looks great, haha:D
I've not started actually teaching mine this yet...working on other stuff but they both know how to back up so it shouldn't be a problem.

I'll have to find the youtube vid.

I found it. The trick in question is near the end of the vid.

Yeah that would be my end goal as well, that she will walk on her front legs. But that will take a bit more muscle training.

I started this with Cas but didn't want to take it further into a handstand as she is 8 now and I don't know whether I would really want to as it puts an awful lot of strain on the front legs.

We're training this, but I'm doing it really really slowly, it's a work in progress so to speak :P

That looks amazing, must take so much time and patience to train a dog to do that. Just started clicker training, maybe one day!!!! clickplease

A warning for people that are wondering if they want to train this trick.....

Rogie is now only able to do this trick....I wanted her to target something with her nose yesterday and what does she do...the puts her bum in the air and targets it with that! I tried to train other tricks....no point what so ever......everything is now done with back feet in the air.....She puts her feet right up now....will try to take a picture of it.

Well I guess she likes her new trick! :) *doggiehug*
