Barking Mad Divas - June 11, 2008 06:32 AM (GMT)
The East Anglian Border Collie Cl,ub is organising a herding clinic in september. Anyone else going? I am taking Violet.

Corder Bollies - June 11, 2008 10:54 AM (GMT)
Where and when? And who is the trainer?

Barking Mad Divas - June 11, 2008 10:59 AM (GMT)
It's been taken off the website! Sorry about that. The day is on the 27th of September and is run by Doreen, who is a member of EABCC and the teacher is someone who has won some nationals or so. Sorry forgot the name, Dave or so.

I'll let you know more once I've got all the information and entryforms sent to me.

Can I ask about Rugue's breeding?

I am recently very into genetics and am fascinated by the sheer number of ,erles that appearing about the place and where they are all coming from, genetically???

Hi Denise,

You can find Rogie's pedigree on my website. Her mum was a merle and is ISDS registered. Her dad is from an unfortunately not-ISDS line.

Shame you are not coming to the herding day. I thought you would go after reading your reply on the K9obedience forum. You will miss out! I know it will be great!

By the way: I never asked for Daves pedigree but I am sure the organisers can tell you :P

Annette - August 12, 2008 02:39 PM (GMT)
Yepp, also would like to go, but unfortuantely, same day in Germany a herdingchampionship held by a shepherds association takes place and my boys and are on fire....means...want to win.

By the way: only Multi-Show-Champions to be found on trialgrounds dogbite

So I wish you all good luck and lots to learn about handling sheep runningdog

Happy herding

Hi Annette, how are you and the doggies?

Running shepherd - August 13, 2008 06:48 PM (GMT)
If you want to see some great Border Collie action this year check out the World Sheepdog Trials. They are in Wales this year - September 11-14.

There is a great country fair held alongside the event too.

Margyg - August 14, 2008 01:22 PM (GMT)
We were planing to go there was going to be a flyball comp at the trials, but it was cancelled, so we are now going to flyball comp at Mottram. Such a shame we were really looking forward to it.
