harv has a new hobby - race to terras poo and eat it before mum picks it up!!!

any suggestions on stopping him - its making him have really bad tummy himself


i have caught him a few times now, he has had bad tummy on and off for 2 weeks now, since worming him, which i had put it down to at first, but now i have caught him eating the unthinkable, i think that is probably the main cause! because of the dicky tum ( the runs) i have missed him one meal and gradually re introduced some lighter food, chicken rice etc, but its still not right!

some pineapple chunks mixed in her food should stop him

My BC did that as a puppy also, nothing I tried worked. She did stop doing it once she reached about 7 months old though on her own. Never did understand that one. Ewwww indeed. *hide*

Sorry - don'T really have an answer but LOVE that picture so had to post!! Good luck - I'm sure someone will have some ideas.

I did read somewhere that a vet said if dogs eat poo it's because they are missing some vitamins/minerals - worth looking into?

I think that is pretty much an old wives tale
