Title: Showing your Collie

What sort of things do you look for in a pup to know if he would do any good in the show ring?

I was thinking of showing Leo, he's 6 months now and is growing up lovely.

Any advice would be great :D

They like classic markings. If it is a merle they also want small dark spots and not too big parts of his body to be marked dark (large dark spot, I hope you understand what I mean). Also the construction of the dog should be ok, he needs to keep his tail low (definitely not over his back) and trot nicely on the lead.

They will look for his teeth, so they shut be set correctly and no element missing. Your dog can not be castrated. Dark eyes they like as well and lots of coat.....
