Title: Flyball in Cheshire
Smithy - August 28, 2008 09:14 AM (GMT)
Does anyone know anywhere for flyball in south Cheshire (Macclesfield, Congleton area)? It needs to be evenings during the week as work weekends so no good.
Maybe is only about 10 months (but we are not sure on that), is that too early to start?

Try Cheshire set, if it is anywhere close to you.
And 10 months is fine. We started then ^.^

Thanks. Any other ideas? Cheshire Set train on a Weds, which unfortunately is my other unavailable day. Mondays or Tuesdays are best. Sorry I know I'm awkward

http://www.k9-sports.co.uk/flyball/clubs.phpTry searching Macclesfield in the bottom right hand corner :) and click on the red blobs to see what comes up.
The alternatives to Cheshire Set seem to be Carry Ons and Flying Colours :D
If not, go on the webboard at www.flyball.org.uk and post in the "find flyball" as there are lots of teams not on that map!

I think there is a club who train in Heaton Park, Manchester - sorry my knowledge if that area is not good so don't know if they would be close enough?
Freddie Barrie, even if you can't do flyball at the moment with your dog most teams would be really welcoming of someone coming along to help out/box load and help in shows etc (I know we would love an extra pair of hands!) so maybe that could be a nice way to get involved...

James, we'll be able to do flyball if we get our own team set up (y)
I'd just have to go on a few walks and find some nice people XD

I have been in touch with CarryOns already. They have just set up beginners training for flyball, but it is unfortunately on a Saturday morning, which is no good for me because of work.
