Hi, i have a 7 year old bc who tends to bite me whilst doing agility. I can always tell when hes about to do it as he turns towards me and jumps up. Its not aggressive but deffinately domineering. Its like he's telling me to hurry up. He also gets very excitable and strong whilst waiting for the other dogs to go and now its became that i dont go to agility because of it.

I have now started fly ball as i have been told the excitable behaviour is what you need in fly ball and he is enjoying it very much, but i miss doing agility. Has anyone got any tips on training him?

Thanks,
Natalie and Busby x

Hi,
Alot of collies do this mine is really bad when i am teaching him new things or having a blond day. It does tend to be when they get confused. Do you have any training at your club that can help you a bit better as they can see the cause. All i do with my boy is say a firm NO and put him in a down or sit it has helped, he has caused some nice marks and fat lips littlr sod dogbite

Hello, just wondering ave you tried having a tug toy on u. Then while you waiting for your turn he can tug on that and not nip u. My dog barks and my trainier told me to do this so as it dont develop and get worse. :D
