Title: Tess gets her first certificate and rosette

Got to training tonight and was told they were doing certificates. Not KC ones or anything just little club ones.

We did the 1st one where you have to do heelwork, recalls (without a present) and retrieve (play retrieve), 30 sec sit and 30 sec down.

YOu weren't allowed to use food and seeing as Tess has only been doing heelwork for about 2 weeks and with food I thought that was abit hard. I did cheat a bit and rub the hot dogs on my fingers so they smelled!!! lol Otherwise she wouldn't focus at all. And she got up on the down right near the end.

Still they were nice to us and gave us 54 out of 60!!! Considering we've only been going a short time I was really pleased.

I think the lady judging thought I was a teenager though as she asled me how long I'd had Tess and if I'd done all the training myself and said well done!!! I wanted to say I'm over 30! lol!!!

Nearly forgot - whilst waiting I was practising 'hold' with the dumbell and she will hold it even after the click until I say give!!! She was dropping it immediately before - she loves the dumbell!!!
