Canis-Lupess - January 12, 2009 11:47 PM (GMT)
I'll be at Rotherham Starters...just need to make sure I can get that day off work. My two will both be competing I think. We train with Rotherham so it's our own tournament.

Brontesis - January 13, 2009 01:04 AM (GMT)
When and where is it being held, I'd try to go to the Rotherham one, are you allowed to take your dogs?

mishflynn - January 13, 2009 07:26 AM (GMT)
are you running zingi? nailbiting

Canis-Lupess - January 13, 2009 01:41 PM (GMT)
The Rotherham starters tournament is held at the phoenix sports club in brinsworth where we also train. You are, of course, welcome to attend and take Roxy too. It's on Saturday the 31st of Jan. They have an open tournament also the weekend after, same place but over Saturday and Sunday.

Kat and Monty - January 13, 2009 02:32 PM (GMT)
I'll be at all 3 trophy1st

Monty is running at Doncaster (don't know which day yet) and also at our own tournament the first weekend in Feb. I'll also be at our starters tournament on the 31st of this month :)

I will be there, what time does it start and how much to enter.

Canis-Lupess - January 13, 2009 05:58 PM (GMT)
You have to be with a flyball team thats entered with a dog thats old enough and trained to starters level but you can still go and watch. Doesn't cost anything to spectate.

Racing usually starts around 8:30am. You can turn up anytime though because it will be on all day.

Brontesis - January 13, 2009 06:10 PM (GMT)
Will be there to watch, and cheer you on

jccc - January 13, 2009 06:32 PM (GMT)
sounds fun

BorderCollieLvr - January 13, 2009 06:38 PM (GMT)
Should be there :) Although not 100% sure yet.

Canis-Lupess - January 13, 2009 06:38 PM (GMT)
Yes, a little BCW meet at our tournament would be great. I'm hoping Wren has finished her first season by then. She came in on the 8th.

Kat and Monty - January 13, 2009 08:14 PM (GMT)
You have to come Han, and bring Eva cos Monty wants to meet his twin again waggingd

Hi Sandra, if you go onto youtube and type in highflyersflyball there are two videos of us at training from the weekend. Tanner is going first, just trying to get him quicker as he usually runs in the pack and is much quicker there!

WarFlyball - January 14, 2009 12:27 PM (GMT)
We're there on the Sunday at Doncaster - look for the mad tri merle with the Tearaways runningdog

sandrazcollies - January 14, 2009 12:52 PM (GMT)
yes sharron told me about vid , have watched it, was choked watch a lexie puppy do so well xxxx

Brontesis - January 17, 2009 02:10 PM (GMT)
Who's going to spectate, can we arrange a time so everyone can meet and not miss each other

WarFlyball - January 17, 2009 09:50 PM (GMT)
Oh yes, maybe at the food van as a nice easy place to meet and they normally have the patio heaters!!

BorderCollieLvr - January 17, 2009 09:58 PM (GMT)
If anyone wants to swap numbers drop me a PM :)

BorderCollieLvr - January 20, 2009 06:16 PM (GMT)
If anyone has a starters space spare at Rotherham can you PM me pls Eva will go up get ball etc and be in any position

BorderCollieLvr - January 20, 2009 06:34 PM (GMT)
Woo sorted so Eva will be there running in starters :)

Canis-Lupess - January 20, 2009 06:42 PM (GMT)
I'll be at Doncaster too now as well as Rotherham. I'll look forward to seeing you lot.
I'll have my black woolly hat on with a maple leaf and it says canada on it...like in the photos of my recent thread in the photos area. If you see me, come and say hello. I'll have Sleet with me at Donny but Wren will still be in season then so will have to stay at home. You'll not be able to miss Sleet...she'll make damn sure you don't:D

I just have to hope that Wren is out of season and sleets feet are healed up in time for our starters at Rotherham. Bah!!

Brontesis - January 24, 2009 05:28 PM (GMT)
I'll be there in the afternoon around 1pm look forward to meeting you all
:D

BorderCollieLvr - January 27, 2009 04:40 PM (GMT)
For those that don't know Rotherham has now been moved to Markfield Leicestershire

walliecollie - January 27, 2009 04:59 PM (GMT)
Was wondering where all the posts were from the w/e !!
I take it the date has changed also ?

Brontesis - January 27, 2009 05:19 PM (GMT)
Was looking forward to that, when will the next one at Rotherham be?

BorderCollieLvr - January 27, 2009 06:24 PM (GMT)
Dates the 31st still for Rotherham just moved to Markfield

Canis-Lupess - January 27, 2009 07:46 PM (GMT)
Yes, the ground is too bad for us to have it at Pheonix unfortunately but we managed to get the Markfield venue so it could still take place.
Our open tournament will take place at Newark.

BorderCollieLvr - February 1, 2009 05:21 PM (GMT)
Rotherham was a great day Eva loved it, she ran with Alpha Dogz and they came 2nd :)

Taylor her remaining puppy is going to Rebecca from Alpha Dogz tonight too :)

Think Canis Lupis took quite a few pics there!

zingi - February 1, 2009 07:42 PM (GMT)
glad you had a good day we could not make it down too far looking forward to the one at newark next week

jane and zingi

WarFlyball - February 4, 2009 10:49 AM (GMT)
Fingers crossed the snow holds off for Newark this weekend, we are there on Sunday and it is our baby dog's first open - I remember a show there a couple of years ago when it snowed. Some teams pulled out so they swapped the divisions round on the day - I missed the first race of the morning (cue one very stressed team captain ringing me every 5 minutes as I was bringing 2 dogs!) and some teams even missed the whole of the mornings racing which was a real shame. runningdog
