Title: our first competition

it was an unaffiliated comp that took place yesterday in a riding school.
our first run we were Eliminated because twig missed the very last weave pole and by the time i had realised it was too late and our second run she did as i feared and glued her nose to the ground. it blew her mind and she couldnt focus, she did get her act together again but not before she became miss knowitall and went the wrong way over one of the jumps. (on a star)
BUT we came 4th in the team jumping 4 lovely clear rounds from our team and an overjoyed mummy. of course helped greatly by the fact that 2 on the team are grades 3 and 4 but all the same i could have screwed it up so easily. the 4th member is like me and has just started competing.

Where was that Gemma? They had a comp down the road from us but we're not members so we didn't find out in time

yup got a few more shows planned to get us into the swing of things :)
this one was at huntingdon leanne. never been before so ended up on a tour of the countryside before we found it. it was a nice little old lady in a village (somewhere) that got us there :wub: it was good fortune that we ended up 15 minutes late lol

Twiglet :) little Tinka is really getting into it but she also enjoys Obedience, star trains in competitive obedience.
