Title: We are looking to adopt...
Gem&Ade - February 16, 2009 11:48 AM (GMT)
Hi there,
The family owned a border collie called shep that sadly has passed away.
We are looking to adopt shep part 2.
We thought we would try rescue before breeders. We have a very loving, active, big countryside home to offer. Also lots of cuddles, love and a job on the farm.
If anyone knows of or has a male pup aged 5 months or under that is not a grand distance from west yorkshire (Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate) then let us know.

Hello have you seen the West Yorkshire Dog Rescue site?
http://www.westyorkshiredogrescue.co.uk/SPOTTIE is a little older than you want but worth a look (I am bias on this one - lol)
We had the pleasure of his company when he first arrived (I'm a fosterer) and he is very special.
He is almost blind but you would hardly know it and has a fab recall

Its a shame you are so far away from Hertfordshire. Heathlands, my local rescue, where my collie and collie x came from, have just brought over a Red & White male 5 mth pup from Ireland. Hes a little cutie, he was given away because he 'rounded up the children', hey bless him hes a Collie.

Hi there everyone. Unfortunatley we decided not to rehome spotty as he is going to lose his sight fully within the next few years and we are looking for more of a working dog. Im sorry.
However... Dogs trust found three border collie pups aged 4 weeks abandoned on sunday and called us straight away...and guess what...We got one! Called Shep! :o)
Pick him up mid march.
Thanks for all your advice & help
Lots of love!
Gemma, Adrian, Carl & Shep xx
