Gorgeous little Buster is thought to be a German Spitz x Collie, aged about 13 or 14 years. Hes only a smallish lad about 19in to the shoulder. This poor lad found himself in a pound with time running out for him. Luckily, the Oldies Club was able to offer Buster a rescue place before he had to be put to sleep. He is now in an Oldies Club foster home in Kent, waiting for some lucky person to offer him a permanent home.
Buster is an extremely sweet natured little dog who loves to be petted and made a fuss of. He settled into his foster home in just a few days. Buster is totally deaf and needs an owner who will take this into account.
He can be left at home for a few hours as he spends most of his time sleeping, especially after a long walk. He walks well on the lead but he can never be let off the lead as he is deaf and so cannot hear you calling and he would just wander off. This isnt a problem though as you could use a flexi-lead so that he can have a little freedom but still stay nice and safe.

His foster carer tells us:
Buster gets on well with other dogs and takes no notice of cats. He is an excellent house pet and quite obedient providing he can see clear hand signals. Buster does not fit his name as he is a sweet, petite dog. He would suit an older person or couple with a slower pace of life. He really just wants someone to be with him and love him.
Buster has had a full vet check since coming into our care. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated. He is completely deaf and has early stage cataracts in both eyes. He has a heart murmur and is undergoing tests for his kidneys because he drinks quite a lot of water. We will update on this when we have the results. He is not on any medication at the moment.
This little dog is the most lovable boy who will give so much love to his new owner.
