beautiful venue and a lovely sunny day, really nice :)

our jumping was first thing and then agility was last thing so it didnt work out too great for Twig. jumping was my fault, i got us eliminated by missing teh last weave (again) agility was AWFUL. our worst session ever :( Twig glued her nose to the ground, she left the ring, she refused to jump. terrible :( we looked like we didnt have a frigging clue nailbiting
i came home totally gutted :( we have training tomorrow and i just know she will be fantastic. sooooooo frustrating.

Don't worry about it honestly even the top handlers have bad days sounds like Twig worked well in the jumping and you've come away from the day knowing what you need to work on. I bet your next competition will be better waggingd

i've just looked back over the footage that hubby took. the first mistake was simply that twig stuck her nose on the ground, the 2nd mistake was in a line of 3 jumps. she took one and two then just as she was about to take the third she got a waft in the air!! i didnt realise at the time but they had a picnic on the go!! right up against the rope!!!!!!!!! argh!

the final mistake before i left the ring was because i wasnt happy, it dented twigs confidence :( thankgoodness for our little camcorder or else i would still be gutted lol little twig is cream crackered and is zonked out now.

Hi Gemma. Don't dwell on it - that's agility - you have good days and bad days!

I was warned by my first instructor when I started agility 15 years ago that some days I would want to give up completely, and he was right! - the good days make it worth it though.

Morning Gemma - I was there on Sunday, shame i didnt know you were goinng we could have meet up - I just went for a look around, didmt take Millie but wish i did know as i could have got her measured, next time ah.

At least you had the video you could look back at - I hope you still enjoyed it, like you said the venue is really nice and the weather was Fab

ohh no! i would have loved to have met you :) did you see any of the other Ace ppl there? they sort of spent the day camped between rings 3 and 2 :)

I didnt really notice the clubs Gemma - I was there around lunch time so just got to see the beginers in ring 4 i think it was.

I saw your run in the Agility and some of the others too. Your dog wasn't the only one whose nose was glued to the floor and came out of the ring. Maybe there was something there???

My dog got stung by something just before we went in the ring and wasn't focused at all, he didn't sniff, but wasn't collected at all.... So maybe it was down to venue and surrounding???
