My new Collie a short coated Blue Merle has been moulting since i got her in mid March is this normal with some collies as the other two hardly seem to loose any hair, please give me your opinions about this . :wub:

Monty constantly sheds hair all over but when I groom him, very little comes out. Storm on the other hand doesn't really shed his hair but when I groom him it comes out by the bucket load.

Teagan seems to be constantly moulting for the last couple of months.

all Tinka has to do is snuggle in and i'm covered! shes groomed everynight too but the floor is covered in floating black fluff despite the hoover and broom on standby all the time.

she is at the end of her season though so perhaps some of it is hormones? it seems to depend on the dog i think. of course should you become concerned or notice any bald patches then visit your vet. even a quick chat with the vet nurse could put your mind at rest?
