Meet Mouse



Mouse is a tri coloured Collie and came to us because she was too nervous to work the sheep. She is approx 10 months old and extremely timid and scared. Mouse will need a lot of work here at the rescue before she is ready to be homed but when the time comes she will need to go to a home with previous Collie experience and ideally another well socialised and behaved dog in residence as she will gain confidence from another dog. Mouse will be a loyal and devoted companion once she has learned to accept you but this will take time and you must be prepared to put in the work with her. Mouse is not house trained and has never walked on a lead. Mouse will need an exceptional home so please don't be disappointed if we turn you down.

Update - Mouse is coming along really well, she loves other dogs, is learning to play and generally not quite so nervous. She still has a long way to go but in the right home she will continue to improve.

Mouse has been passed on to Border Collie Trust where I am sure she will find a new home in no time.
