I am going to pick up a blue merle bitch puppy up to foster this weekend.
She is a short / med coat girl, who is with the dogs trust due to her owners having a baby and being unable to cope.
I am glad to say however that she was very well cared for and it does look like they have spent time and effort in training her (unlike the usual that get a collie with no idea and appear surprised when their farm collie starts nipping the kids!), and she is house trained, settles well overnight and walks nicely on the lead.
She is originally from a farm, so although she has a lovely temperament, she does need to go to an experienced and active collie home where she can have a hobby such as obedience or agility to chanel her brains and energy into.
While with me she will be living with other dogs, a cat and will get used to travelling and going to shows along with continuing with basic training. She loves her toys and food.

fancy gettin a puppy if u know ur about to have a baby, i dont understnad that!
its ok wen baby here after a while and baby settled and in routine but not jsut before u drop!
oh well, hopefully puppy wont be lookin long!
