Title: Nix had a accident, gypsy has lump removed

Nix was playin over park with the other collies and they all ran towards to long grass after the ball, they all well over each other and i noticed blood all over nix's foot!
wen i looked i cud see it was quite deep so brought him home and cleaned him up and cud see the skin was folded back quite alot!
took him straight to the vets and they shaved the area and sed it looks like he was implaed by somehting, it went in and up his foot!
he now has 4 staples in his foot and a sock over it and a buster collar on.
had a pain killer injection and some antis.
got tablets for a week and gotta take him bk on friday wen i take gypsy back to have a look at her stitches!
gypsy had a "old lady" lump on her right leg and it was gettin bigger and bigger so i had it removed before the skin split. she has stiches and a buster collar and goes back on friday wen nix goes back!

Oh no, what a horrible day for you all... Hope they are feeling better soon.
When Toby nearly sliced his pad off someone recommended Manuka honey to help it heal as their vet had tried it on their dog. Once his stitches were out I put honey on the area about 3x a day and it healed brilliantly. Other people I have recommended it to have also thought it helped so might be worth a try?
You would need the stuff that costs at least £10 and says 10+ or higher on it though so it has enough of the active ingredient, you can get it in Tesco or health food shops normally...

Oh no poor Nix puppy!! Hope he is ok now and getting lots of cuddles from mummy Lou. We send him lots of cuddles and licks.
Hope Gypsy is alright as well. Sounds like you've had an expensive week!

both go bk to vets in the morning so fingers crossed they can have there stiches and staples removed!
