We entered our first agility show this weekend!! Letchworth DTC were holding a show only 10 minutes away from us so we entered the allsorts agility and jumping.

On Saturday I struggled to get Vince's gencon off when it was our go and it got caught in his fur. So he was all unsettled and as soon as I let go he ran over to the scribe!!! Then he ran behind the tent where he found Paul hiding so Paul sent him back to me!!

After that he stayed with me (although he ignored the beginning 3 jumps and went straight for the a frame!!). We did the weaves properly on the 3rd attempt and I was really pleased with him.

Sunday he didn 't run off at the start and stayed with me. We got eliminated because he looked in the tunnel when he shouldn't have but he came back when I called him instead of going through so I was really pleased.

We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. Going to be brave and go for grade 1 next time!!!

Well done, the main thing is you had fun. When is your next show?

The ring of the gencon would get stuck in Bertie's fur when I got on the start line of agility too, I had to make sure I took my time to take it off and make sure none of his fur was caught in it.
