I have found an agility club for scooby off of agilitynet. He starts at Barking Mad AC on the monday 26th october two days before his 1st birthday.
Is there anything that i need to know about agility or will they explain it all to me. I went and looked at another club last week and they had toys for after they finished what they were doing would it be a good idea to do this with Scooby.
What does everyone else use to entertain their furry friends to get them to do as they are asked?

All i would say is take Scooby out for a walk before u go. They tend to get very excited wen it come to agility. Great fun for both of u thou. Hope u enjoy it. Keep us all informed on how u get on. Just remember to have fun with it.

Scooby is starting agility monday night but he has also been invited to another agility iduction session to start in the spring is it wise to allow him to go to 2 different agility clubs or should i just keep to the one that he is starting at?

I would stick to one for now. There are lots of different methods for teaching contacts, weaves etc, and also different handling systems (later on) and if the two clubs do different methods, Scooby would almost certainly get confused and so would you.
Once you get a bit more experienced, that's a different matter.
Enjoy your agility!

Hi all,
Well Scooby really enjoyed agility tonight (or should i say he really enjoyed Calli!!!)
Calli is a 1yr old female border collie who took an instant liking to Scooby licking his nose and his ears, Scooby was concentrating until she distracted him and he lost his train of thought (typical male thinking with his trousers instead of his head lol sorry hope i dont offend anyone)
Lets hope that next week will be better for him and that Calli doesn't start her flirting again.
Fingers crossed
