Sorry guys

Im going to be asking alot of questions and advise I hope you dont mind.

As you know we are getting a BC pup I have found a good school not local but 30 mins away from us but its a good school down here, I would like to know when is best to start your pup learning Agility.

There's a lot to teach your pup before he ever goes near any agility equipment, you need to get a good bond and have a good play drive, tuggies, retrieve. Then there's a good wait, recall, go on, left and right directions and heel on both left and right and to target something later to be used for contacts.
Teagan and Bertie didn't do any equipment until they were a year old, Skye I started doing really low jumps, contacts and tunnel when she was 10 months old and started training the weaves just before she was a year old (to which I got told I shouldn't be doing weaves until at least a year old unless it was a wide channel).

Ask away - no harm in asking!

Generally I do lots of obedience with baby dogs, but with agility in mind. You want to concentrate on basic puppy stuff first - get your general obedience (sit/down/wait/come when called/release word/send away) first, then agility related obedience and flatwork (Greg Derrett's agility foundation training dvd is great), then from a year old, agility equipment.

If you can find a good club that do agility foundation training, that would be a good start.

thank you for the advise.

Iv found a club in the south west that do a foundation course for pups 4 months + and also a life skills course. Sounds good.
