Ella wanted to go swimming but it was late at night. For Ella sneaking out was the best time to go swimming. She walked into the pool house wearing her green striped bathingsuit with a pair of gray cheerleading shorts over the bottoms. Slowly, she slipped out of the shorts and dived into the water.

Conner walked rather aimlessly around school grounds. He couldn't sleep and was bored. If he got caught then he was probably going to be put into detention for the 3rd time this week. But he really didnt care.

He hummed to himself slightly as he made his way to the indoor pool. He didnt know if he was actualy going to go swimming, or just sit and stare at the water. But either way, it was something to do.

when he opened the door to the pool he got kind of startled. He saw someone and thought it was a teacher, but then realized it was a student swimming. Conner remembered her from a few classes of his. She was a senior too, they werent friends and they never talked, they both had thier own lives, but he knew who she was, and he was almost sure that she could tell people who he was as well. Although Conner was kind of famous to the school, as "that bad kid"

Conner walked up to the edge of the pool and watched Ella swim. "Shouldn't you be in bed?" he asked her with a smile.

Ella had just come up from being under the water when Conner walked into the pool area. She swam over to the side after he asked her if she should be in bed. She pulled her self out, with water running down her toned, tan body and smiled. "I could ask the same question of you Conner," she said playfully. "Come to swim or would you rather be alone?"

Conner raised his eyebrow as Ella pulled herself out of the water. She was an attractive girl and damn did she look good in a bathing suit. Conner shook his had and laughed at himself for his thoughts.

"I could ask the same question of you Conner," she said playfully. "Come to swim or would you rather be alone?"

"Me? Bed? Hell no." he said with a laugh. " And..Not sure yet, but you don't have to leave." he said with a smile. He looked at the water and really did get the urge to swim. Maybe he would for just a litle bit..

Ella looked at Conner. He was extrememly good looking. Yes he was a bad boy but that just made Ella even more curious about him. She had to laugh when " And..Not sure yet, but you don't have to leave." "Who said I was going to leave anyway?" She asked him curiously. With that she dove back into the pool.

"Who said I was going to leave anyway?"

Conner rolled his eyes, yea he had set himself up for that one with out even knowing it. When Ella dove back into the pool, water splashed up and hit Conner. He shook his head and stood up and pulled his shirt off, revealing his muscular chest. He slide off his tennisshoes and unbuckled his belt. "Now, dont get distracted and drown from my utterly hot body" he said when ella came back up to the surrface. He dropped his belt on the ground and jumped into the pool, feeling refreshed as the cool water hit him.

Ella laughed and said, "I'll try not to Conner. I have to say that it is very hard." She said the last part while rolling her eyes as she dove under the water and swam towards him. She grabbed his ankles for a moment before swimming off again.

"I'll try not to Conner. I have to say that it is very hard."

"Well I know it is" he said with a playful cocky tone. Conner watched as she swam up to him, grabed his ankles then swam away. Conner ruffled his brow, the last person he ever thought he would swim with in the middle of the night would be Ella Harding. They were nothing alike really. And now, with out even saying hello. They were swimming together. Conner let his feet fall from underneath him causing him to sink to the bottom of the pool, he opened his eyes in the water to see where Ella was, and yes, that was one of his special tricks he had taught himself how to do. He saw her legs and swam torwards her. After getting just a few feet away from her, he grabed her sides and pulled her under real quick before letting her go.

Conner wiped the water out of his face when he stood back up in the pool, "So do you do this often?"

When he pulled her down for that instant she gasped. Not a lot of people could get her like that. She came back up from under the water laughing a bit. She wiped away the water from her eyes and smiled. "Actually, yes I do. It's fun to swim and even more fun to swim at night. It's more peaceful I think," she told him as she floated on her back. What she could use right now was a flotation device of some sort. "How about you? Come out after curfew a lot?" She turned her head towards him when she asked that. He is ten times hotter when wet, she thought as she smirked a little.

Conner relaxed himself as he sat there wading in the water. He watched Ella with interest as she moved herself through the water so smoothly. It Intrigued him. "Yeah, half the detentions I get are for my dorm mates ratting me out on not being in bed." he stated as he rolled his eyes. He didnt understand why people were so immature about tattle tailing. Its not like he was doing any harm to anything anyway. He just didnt like being in bed early.

Conner notice a smirk cross Ella's face. "What was that for?" he asked her as he tilted his head, "that smirk..?"

The smirk styaed for a little longer before it moved into a smile. Her head turned so she was looking at the ceiling again. "Can't a girl smirk?" She asked in a sassy tone. One thing she loved to do is be sassy and she was good at it too. Slowly she started to swim backwards until she got to the wall and turned around to float a little more.

COnner laughed, "No a girl cant smirk, because when a girl smirks, it means something.. it could either be good or bad. But it still means something." he said as he put dived under the water doing a handstand, raising his legs into the air and then fall back down after a moment. He stood back up and shook his head to get rid if the extra water. For once he really wasn't trying to show off, he was doing that to stretch and pop his back, which worked. "Ah much better" he mumbled to himself. He swam over to the edge of the pool and and let his arms rest on the walls. "So let me ask you something, besides the fact I want to know why you smirked. How come you never talked to me before? Like..why is it just not that when we're the only two here..that we talk. And never did all those times in class or in the halls..?" he asked out of curiousity.

Ella swam over to where he was and pulled herself out of the water. She looked down at him and though about what he asked. "Well," she started. "You aren't going to know why I smirked. Second I think we never really thought about talking. I know I've noticed you though I just never said anything. I've wanted to and I guess I just wasn't sure if you'd want to talk to me." She sort of shrugged.

Conner nodded his head in agreement. "Yea.. ive seen you too. Just never really came up with a good enough excuse as to why i talked to you if you ever asked. Hah" he said as he rubbed the back of his head. Conner turned around and looked up at Ella. She was a very pretty girl. A grin grew on his face and he slid his feet to stand infront of her. And before Ella, or even himself knew other wise he had picked her up but the waist and pulled her into the water. But he didnt let go of her and was gentle to make sure she didnt get hurt. "Opps..dont go falling for me now.." He said with an evil grin and a wink.

Ella laughed a bit at his answer and nodded. She couldn't really take her eyes off his muscles and wrapped her arms around his neck to keep herself from floating away. She smirked again and looked up at him. "I'll try not to," she said to him.

Conner felt Ellas arms rest around his neck. It was weird almost, hardly knowing a person one minute, and the next you guys are half naked swimming. I mean, its not like they were going anything wrong, besides the fact up after hours. But it felt weirder then having a one night stand or a quick hook up.

Conner dunked under the water bringing Ella with him. He rose back up and shook his head. He just realized he didnt have anything else to wear but his now soaking wet pants, unless he went back to his room. But he really didnt want too. He wanted to stay out longer, even after he left the pool, he wasnt planning on going to bed.

"So, Miss Harding, tell me about yourself. I don't know very much about you.."

Ella sensing some weirdness she moved her arms from around his neck and rested them on the wall behind her. "About me," she said as she pressed her lips together in thought. "Well I'm a drama fantic. I love being in plays. Also I love being a photographer and will probably go into some profession with photography. How about you love? Tell me about yourself."

"Well thats cool.." he said as he started to move aroudn in the water a little. "Well..there really isnt much to me. I love football and i love to travel." he said with a shrug. "I dont taka shit from anyone...and.. i can be a real nice guy if you let me be" he said. There was a lot more to it then that, but he wasnt ready to open up to her.

Conner let Ella drop suddenly into the water.. he laughed a little and helped pull her back up. "I told you to stop falling for me.." he stated with a grin.

Ella laughed. "I told you I would have trouble not falling for you," she said with a grin. "Actually you sound very interesting in my opinion. Football is fun but which are you talking about? The american kind of the everywhere else kind?" She asked as she laughed a bit.

Laughing Conner made his way back to the wall and pulled himself up sitting down with his feet and legs in the water still, but his chest was out of the water now, and you could see the water beads rolling down off his chest. "American Football" he said with a laugh. He almost forgot that not everyone attending this school was American.

"and honestly.. im not that interesting.."

Ella shrugged some. "You are more interesting than some," she said smiling. She then did a backflip in the water and as she cam up she shook the water from her face. "Are you tired?" She asked him as she admired his toned body without it seeming like she was.

"Heh..well..yea.. I do have to admite. Im a pretty cool guy" he said as he laughed at himself. Okay so he sounded like an arogant ass, but really he wasn't that cocky, he just acted it a lot.

"No, im not tired.." he said trying to figure out if he actually was or not. "But I am having an ADD moment and wanting to go find something else to do. Wanna join me?" he asked as he stood up and reached down and offered his hand to Ella.

Ella took his hand and placed one foot on the side. She pulled herself, using him as a base obviously, out of the pool and went to dry off some. After drying off she offered him her towel. "Would you like to use it?" She asked as she placed it on the bench and put her cheerleading shorts back on

Conner watched with interest as Ella dried herself off. He nodded his head she she asked if he would like to use her towel. He dried his head and his chest off, he looked down at this shorts, that was hopeless. Guess he would just have to walk around in wet pants. He shrugged and tossed the towel of his shoulder "Come on.." he said as he took her hand and led her through a few doors, and outside onto the dark grounds.

they walked in sliences for a moment as Conner started leading up out and away from the campus. He stood still for a moment and looked up at the sky. He was amazed by all the stars. It was gorgeous. " I love it out here.."

Ella felt a surge thru her body when he took her hand. Not one of those bad surges but a good, giddy kind of surge. It was different and she liked it. When they stopped she also looked up. It was amazing at how bright the stars were out here and that the moon gave an amazing amount of light. She took her camera, which she always has with her, and takes a picture, without the flash, of the stars.

Conner raised his eyebrow as she took a picture of the stars. "Do you always carry that thing around with you?" he asked as he gestured torward the camera. "I dont think ive ever see you with out it."

Conner shook his head and let himself fall to the ground. He sighed and layed his head back resting in his arms. "You can sit you know." he said when he noticed Ella hesitate a little. "I wont bite....hard..." he said with a smile.
