Adversity

July 20th 2009 - CCT is now officially closed! I have created a new site, a shapeshifter and human RPG which you can find here if you would like to join.

June 26th 2009 - If you haven't heard by now, CCT will be closing soon. I love CCT more than my own sister, but that won't save it. I have tried so hard to bring this place back, but every hour I spend seems to be wasted, and I'm sick of it. So I face it. The plot is a dead end, most of the members have faded away, and new ones aren't joining. I don't know what I've done wrong, or what happened, but those are the facts. I really, truly thank from the bottom of my heart all the exceptionally faithful members like Dae, and Caddeh who have still be rather active despite CCT's obvious stretch of downs. Needless to say, CCT's death does not indicate the death of me running my own site. I am opening a new site called Wasted Skies. It's completely different from CCT, no fantasy wolves or powers. Instead, it's a human vs. shapeshifter RPG located on a different planet in the future. Once it's finished, I certainly hope that a few of you may join me there. Thank you so much, -Admin Kyozen.
June 1st 2009 - As I'm sure you've all noticed, the new skin is up! No, that black wolf is no one specific, but next month's skin should be featuring a plot character! May 11th 2009 - Adversity Monthly - May Addition is up at last! Please check it out, it's not that long this month. Also, the Spotlight page has been updated on the website for those who care to read. Auditions for Mechlan are now running until the end of the month. Please, please audition for him! Thanks! -Kyo.
April 26th 2009 - MOTM, COTM, and TOTM voting is up! Please cast your votes as soon as possible! Also, Mechlan Auditions are running until April 30th so please audition if you don't have a plot character but want to and have time to play one! Another thing, please be sure to enter the contests! That's very important! We have two contests right now that haven't even been entered yet which is very disappointing! Thanks! -Kyo
April 18th 2009 - Members please remember that Trivia Nights were moved to Saturday at 8pm which means that we will be having our next one on April 25th and if that's a hit I may throw in one last april one on Tuesday, the 27th. Those will be the last Trivia Nights of April, so be sure to come and get your Coins to spend on April Exclusive Items before they're removed from the shops! Thanks! -Kyo
April 13th 2009 - The Monster Maker contest has been extended until April 30th. All other contests will continue on their normal scheduale so the Fabulous Fans contest will still end on the 18th of April. -Kyo

This land is the farthest north in Adveristy. It is an unpredictable land that often suffers from fierce snowstorms in the winter and tornadoes in the summer. Yet, despite the bad weather this land somehow manages to be a great place to live. It is bordered by tall mountains and filled with grassy meadows for all territory members to enjoy.

Ice Claw River
A rumbling river of fierce, foaming waters plows its way through the middle of the territory. Every now and then are large boulders that can be used to cross the river, though they are often wet and slippery. Large prey can often be found drinking from this river, for it is the main water source in Northern Adversity.

A beautiful forest full of tall oaks and healthy maples. Cool, crisp streams run down from the Annihilation Mountains and provide wanderers with a quiet place to stay. Small prey is plentiful here at all times of year.

Eastern Adversity isn't the most welcoming of places. It borders Western Adversity, which is an ocean, so it is full of dangerous swamps and dry plains. Once you get used to the land, however, it is rather easy to know where the best spots for hunting can be found.

Enredado Swamp
The Tangled Swamp is on the border of Eastern Adversity. In the summer it is hot and clogged with mud and diseases. Winter is really the swamp's only approachable time, and only the smallest of prey can be found here.

A vast, grassy field where most battles take place. It is easy to get killed here, and almost impossible to hide. The fighting has scared away all but the smallest of prey, so hunting here is a bad idea.

This territory lies far in the south. Though it's climate is relativly warmer than Northern Adversity, it still gets blizzards in the winter. Yet blizzards aren't the only thing you should worry about. On rare fall days, fierce tropical storms can hit.

The undstoppable river is like a brother to the Ice Claw River, only it runs from the Southern half of the Annihilation Mountains. This river's banks are severly eroded, and dangerous after it rains. Because the banks are wore down considerably, the river is rather dirty and can be fatal to drink in some places.

Annihilation Mountains
Jagged mountain peaks pierce the sky for as far as the eye can see. In there vast woodlands and snowy plateaus creatures can often be found sneaking around. Though prey is not scarce, it can be rather hard to find in some places.
