ACT or centerforce.

Black Maxima - June 12, 2007 05:31 PM (GMT)
I hear good things about the 5th Gen clutch and it's only $250 from the dealer.

You ever do your Aaron? What did you use?

Black Maxima - June 12, 2007 07:09 PM (GMT)
Yup, mine was done a couple weeks ago. The shop used a Luk Clutch Kit. I don't have any problems with it.

kendal_jones101 - June 12, 2007 11:12 PM (GMT)
can anyone get me a hook up on a clutch kit and maybe a light flywheel

Zach95SE - June 12, 2007 11:54 PM (GMT)
Call DaveB or Dave B whoever on the org I think he can get you the 5th gen for about $200.

kendal_jones101 - June 13, 2007 01:07 AM (GMT)
at south point nissan or something

Zach95SE - June 13, 2007 02:01 AM (GMT)
That might be it I have never called him so I'm not sure what place it is.

i rock a spec stage 3...its very street driveable..havent had any problems with it. good price also. holds more than enough power. paid 330 shipped.

i have the ACT 4 puck, obviously its not all that street friendly, but ACT makes a good product, the exedy stage 1 is very good for the price, and even the spec is pretty good

DAVEB from the .Org will gladly hook you up. I just got a price from him for a 5th gen clutch for <$200 shipped. His number is 888-254-6060. Good luck.

east hartford?? victor research??? also, yes do the ACT its a good clutch just do NOT get a 6 puck get a soild disk clutch. the puck clutches are VERY chopped off the line and feel weird even though they are good they still are weird to get off the line with.

FlatOut - February 2, 2009 02:45 AM (GMT)
I don't think victor research can sell anything anymore legally because the new "owner" doesn't actually own the shop he just rents the dyno from the original guy. The place is weird.

I havn't done any research for the maximas but when i did for my 240 i found you will want to try to find a sprung clutch for street use and try to find a solid orgainic disk for longevity

What kind of power do you want it to hold?

95max327 - February 2, 2009 02:58 AM (GMT)
yea that shop is weird haha, who lives in CT and close to wallingford? i gotta rip off my intake mani one day and clean it and check my injectors and change the O rings and insulators

witeonblakmax - March 11, 2009 10:13 PM (GMT)
5th gen clutch ftw... i got it and it holds great but once you do some serious mods then you will need to upgrade
