whats the deal with the walbro 255 fuel pump? Does it increase performance for non boosted setups?

i may not be correct, but if you're not boosted (turbo/sc/nitrous) it will not offer any gains. it'll just spit out more fuel, and could possibly affect your AFR. maybe bill can chime in on this.

Suicidalspd99 - June 3, 2008 03:57 PM (GMT)
No power gain unless you require more fuel for some reason. Ie. turbo, fi, full built. No point for your car unless you have big plans for the future.

Thats good to know I suppose. What is an "fi"?

"fi" stands for forced induction.

thanks so I guess the moral is don't need fuel upgrades if there isn't FI on the engine.
