Title: Front End...

alloutnissan - November 3, 2008 03:23 PM (GMT)
Does anyone know why my 98 SE would be shaking in the front end whenever i go past 70 on the highway? I was thinking maybe my ball joints..or the fact that the tires are horribly aligned?..maybe?

Your fist steps should be to get your car aligned and your wheels balanced. And if your tires are shot, you should replace them. If those simple checks don't work, then you might need to look into other suspension/steering items like your ball joints, tie rod ends, etc...

check wheel bearings and axles also.

turns out it was a bad tie rod end and a horrible alignment
