This happens more often than not, when i start my car sometimes after it turns over ill hear a not normal sound coming from the engine, i dont even know how to describe it but its not right. I was thinking it might be the starter...

is it a winding grind. then you can stop and then start again and it is fine?

something like that yea..it doesnt do it every single time i start it but it does happen often.

Could either be a bad bendix in the starter or a missing tooth on the flywheel.

Hurry up and replace the starter before you get stranded. I can do it for $40 bucks if you want me to do it.
