I heard that you can hook up the car battery in the trunk, instead of the engine bay...is that possible?

It's possible, but not necessary. I think some FI guys do it for extra space. Under normal circumstances there is no point IMO.

You need to buy battery cable an run it to the trunk. It is not hard, just takes time.

They actually sell battery relocation kits to make this much easier, my brother has his battery relocated to his truck in his mustang. You can install these kits on the max but really the purpose is to put the weight of the battery over the rear wheels of a RWD car for better traction and the max is FWD so only for more hood space...
