NYCMaximas Spring "Underground" Kickoff Meet

Saturday, March 21st - College Point, Queens - 9 pm

Okay people this year there were too many meets and most were very small turnouts. Well I want this meet to be like they use too. I want to kick start 2009 big. Let's get that energy flowing with a very large turnout for this one.

I picked this date because its the beginning of Spring. Also it's on a Saturday. I've made it a night meet starting at 9pm so lots of people can be out of work to make this one. Also Rishi originated this meet which was the first one I went to.

This meet was termed "underground" because there is no permit for this lot that we're using. There is no mall security there. If everyone behaves, there should be no problems. Since I expect a large turnout, please follow the rules posted below.

I'm giving everyone way ADVANCE notice for this meet. I don't want some 60 car meet either. We have 800+ members here. I want to see at least 100+ cars there. If your car is stock, and I've said this before, it doesn't matter, please come out and meet the community. This community isn't just about cars but the friendships, learning and cameraderie. No one will laugh at your car. The majority here have been around here too long for that.

So put away the keyboard for a few hours, turn off the PC and get out here.

Rules:

1. Do not speed, race, or PEEL OUT in this parking lot. Do not enter the parking lot or the mall area at a high rate of speed. I will ask you to stop if you are doing this.

2. Do not BUMP your system coming into the mall or parking lot. If you want to show off your system, you can do so at an acceptable volume. Keep the subs at a minimum. If your system is too loud, I will give you a reminder to keep it down.

3. Do not REV motors to show off exhausts or intakes incessantly. We're trying to keep the noise to a minimum. A few blips of the throttle, that's fine.

4. Respect the public & of course other members.

5. No Public drinking *beer & liquor* in the parking lot or smoking weed. Yes I've seen it happen.

6. There will be photographers. If you want pics of your car done, just ask one them. They might be taking panaroma shots and your car might not be clearly pictured due to the length of the lot. Please do not complain, afterwards that no one got shots of your car, because you couldn't approach one of them.

7. Do not add your name to the list and then don't show up or call one of the contacts listed indicating your NO SHOW factor. You know what happens after that if you don't report in with a call or a post here. You must post or call at least 2 hours before the meet time indicating that you cannot make the meet.

Im getting my car ready for this and 2 be real I pretty damn excited about this seeing as though its been COLDx10 winter and we haven't done this for a minute...who else from ct max is rollin' though??? we only got 3 heads on the list so far...

I'll go but, I want to get a bunch of people to roll with and a meeting point so we can all roll at once. This "underground" kick off meet sounds pretty sick I'm looking forward to be there. :) :lol:

Is anyone from the Hartford area meeting up? If so I was thinking we can all meet at a commuter parking lot in Cromwell exit 21 off of I-91 (on right hand side of exit 21) Time?(unknown). Anyone by the south end of CT like I-95, area we can meet with you guys at a commuter parking lot somewhere.

I would meet you guys at the rest area in Fairfield off of 95s. As for times I gotta plan it out. I am thinking meet me in Fairfiled at 630. This way we have some time to stop if needed and be there a bit early. Since other will be there early and we can have decent parking.

aite...I had 3 MAJOR things I have 2 get done in order for me 2 go 2 this and so far Im on schedule but its crunchtime cuz this shit is on Sat nite and if one thing goes wrong Im a be MAD AZ F*&% I cant go cuz Ive been plannin on goin 2 this for a min :angry: But this is my list and this how it goes...

Problem 1- one of my stock ballast is roasted w/my 6k h.i.d.s and only got ONE headlight (but both 6k bulbs are good)

Solution: I ordered a 8k h.i.d kit w/ 2 D2R bulbs,2 ballast,plugs etc. on monday were sposed 2 b here 2day but they aint come even thoe I paid xtra for 2 day shipping called em they said ballast were not in stock but were shipped 2day and guarenteed 2 be here Friday and would refund me the xtra shipping cost 2 my account but I just want my f***ing 8k's

problem 2- stock radiator is leakin bad specially under WOT

Solution-orderd and installed a new lighter weight radiator from a shop who does radiators for opened wheel race cars and race bikes !!!


Problem 3- boot on on axel is leakin on pass side/driver side axel is also in bad shape

Solution: ordered 2 new light weight racing axels fom Moog racing and a Moog pass side tied rod and going 2 the install Thurs.nite at school and got 3hrs. 2 do it :o

If I win I go and have mad fun like I always do at the meets especially the NYC MEETS!!! :lol:

If I lose I sit in the crib w a box of dutches mad asf***k thinkin of of the sick drive 2 queens I missed and all the hot ass Maximas/Nissans that will be there :angry:

I'm just gonna change my oil and throw my front lip on. No rims for this meet. Still too early.
