Hey guys, saw this website on the back of a Maxima a while back and remembered it when I looked into buying a Max

I purchased, today, a 2003 Maxima SE 6 spd with 17k miles, (not a mistake) It has black cloth interior (kinda wanted leather but willing to settle for the low miles) loaded up pretty nice, excellent condition, the burgundy reddish color. I'll be picking it up this week sometime when i get the chance.

I also have a 1993 Nissan 240sx with a custom turbo setup fully forged bottom end, all worked suspension/drive train If there is any interested i could show a mod list and some pics.

I bought the Maxima looking for a nicer/more luxurious daily driver to replace my 1994 honda civic.

I live in Northern CT about 15 min north of hartford and have seen a max or 2 with the the CT maximas window banner

thanks guys, and yeah, it runs good. im currently set at about 18psi. not sure how much farther i can push it on pump gas, i have run it at 20 before though, but that was before i advanced the timing.

picking up the max on sunday and registering it on tues, can't wait

thanx 4 the compliments on the exhaust...Its a custom cat-back with 2.5 stainless steel piping ,the muffler is from apr racing and u can't see it that well in the pics but its also slightly angled (on purpose) I luv the way it sounds at low rpms, deep and throaty and sounds just mean at wot especially when i'm at around 60 mph and punch it to like 80 mph!!! the down side is im on my 2nd illegal exhaust ticket I thought it didnt look to far off from stock but I guess H.p.d feels different...They can give me 100 tickets but till i find somethin that looks or sounds better its stayin' :lol: cant wait 2 see picz of ya max

I've been driving my car since Tuesday and i love it but its way to damn quiet so i need to figure out what exhaust i want. I'll probably just buy and over the axle for now and wait for a used mid pipe for sale in the classified or something. Thinking HKS sport exhaust or the cattman, I like the polished muffler a little better but may want to stay away from that from what you are saying, (I have a highly polished 4.5" tip crooked blitz nurspec on my 240 that is wicked loud and so far havn't been bothered), but this being my daily i don't need any extra attention.

If it ever stops snowing and i get a chance to clean my car i'll snap some pics.

NICE MAX!!! I always loved that color with a nice tint on it,looks real clean and wit 17k on it its a BABY...I know its ya daily driver and all but it would be hard for me to resist modding such a clean,low mileage,6spd MAX!!! :lol:

i hear ya SCI, i have to do a few things. My exhaust came today i'll be putting it on Saturday at my bros shop. Looking to do an intake eventually and some lowering springs, and definitely get some tints. Maybe even a set of wheels if i come across a deal on a set of used ones i like.

What you need? I can do most near anything you might need done to your car.

i don't need anything done at the moment but i thought you were talking specific. Im a mechanic and my bro is aswell so together we can pretty much get anything done, but thanks anyway

I got my exhaust on yesterday (megan racing oe-rs). I love the way it looks but it is alot quieter than i thought it was going to be and i had some fitment issues and it still rattles alittle while going around corners.

get a berk intake to go with that exhaust.

That intake seems a little expensive for just being a sri, I found the injen full cold air intake for 265 shipped and thats what i'll probably go with when the time comes but I don't feel like spending the money right now, I got more to do to the 240 first

Check were the first bend is. Exhaust is most likely hitting the heat shield.

well i fixed the exhaust, it was hitting where it went over the axle because the system moved around alot. I welded on another hanger to the frame and problem solved, im alot happier with it now.

I bought one of those MAF adapters and put a cone filter on. Im going to replace the accordian peice with a peice of 3" pipe one of these days when i get the chance to make it but currently my intake was 15 bucks and works good.

I also did the short throw shifter mod and i must say i am very happy with that. the throw is very short and crisp now.

Which STS mod did you do? You buy the axxtion kit or weld the washer?

I just drilled a hole next to the current one and used a clevis pin. Any i must say i love the way the shifter is now. I also centered neutral.
