as to how much a full vq35 swap would be into a 98 maxima se..anyone do it on here?

IVE SEEN THE VQ35 BLOCKS GO F0R LIKE $700-$1200 DEPENDING ON VARIOUS FACTORS LIKE MILEAGE AND SHIT LIKE THAT BUT IDK BOUT INSTALL PRICES I ALWAYS READ ABOUT THIS SWAP ON MAXIMA.ORG THEY HAVE ALOT OF USEFUL INFO ON THERE

You can find them for $500 with pretty decent mileage my buddy got one for 500 with 31k and im gonna get a $500 one but its essentially gonna be free for me once i part out this de-k i have sitting around.. dont do a full swap man its gonna be a headache with wiring,. just use your 3.0 timing

whats the disadvantage of having the 3.0L timing instead of the 3.5?

You will also be using the 30 ecu so it's not gonna be like a full 3.5 but still a step up from the 30.. Lookin realistically at like 210 to the wheels with full exhaust.. Tuned you can get more tho.

well if you can atleast drop in the motor and trans the whole swap is lookin at like $1200 if you need some1 to actually put it in idk i how much they would charge

well besides the cracked front bumper, broken fogs, dents, scratches..i have a bad rear o2 sensor a noisy wheel bearing, noisy alternator tension pulley, leaking oil everywhere, and probably a lot more to come. But hey, for 220xxx miles it runs AWESOME.
