Title: Make Your Own Short Throw. Very Easy

I bought one of those ebay short throws for $20 and the quality and fitment was unacceptable. So I decided make my own, with positive results. Here's what you do:

1- place your stock shift lever in your oven at 300 for about 25 minutes.

2- place the shifter in a vise and use a hammer and a piece of rod to dislodge the fulcrum ball and move it up the shaft about 1" to right before where the bend is.

3-drill a small hole through the nylon and the shifter shaft and insert a pin to ensure the ball stays in that spot on the shaft. (it will still be very tight on the shaft anyway, but better safe that sorry) I used window weld on the pin to keep it in place. make sure none of it protrudes.

4- reinstall and Thank me.
