Title: Swift Motorsports Retractable License Plate Mount

KamberB - June 8, 2009 05:32 AM (GMT)
Was surfing the web for some universal license plate holders and came across this. It looks really cool and I am seriously considering getting it. I just wanted to share the find with everyone else. This company is located in Norwich, CT for everyones information.

Site:

Swift Motor Sports Retractable Front Plate

or Altec's Product:

Altec Remote Control Show N Go Retractable Front Lisence Plate

YouTube Video:

They also have a non-motorized version as well.

I've thought about building one of these for my rear plate for when the cops are chasing me so they don't get my plate number.

They said that they aren't doing a group deal at the moment and the Plate Mount is already discounted from $170-9 to $150. I emailed them backing asking if people were to drive down to pick up the product and have it installed at the same time if they could discount the plate or offer some type of free install.

I'll post back with the reply as soon as I get one.

surfin the web man... I wanted a mount for the front that I could put off to the side and then this sh*t just pooped outta no where. It looked sick. I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these things for sure man.

Through some research though I found that people said that the swift motorsports plates aren't as good cause they have to make them before they send them out. I found another company that got best new product at SEMA and the company that sells the product (another web site) also was featured at SEMA so they are legit companies. The plats only coast $10.00 more and come with a warranty on them unlike Swift Motorsports. I'll post a link to that web site in the first post.
