THanx for the compliments i really appreciate the luv comin' from other Maxima enthusiast  it wz pretty e z to fit on I thought the 4th gen maximas was the only cars rockin this but after talkin to this kid who owns a modded civic hatch he said this mod is gettin more popular amongst the honda crowd and alotta 6th gen accord coupes, sedans, and civics have been on this for a while now. I gotta just make it a lil more secure for those 120+ m.p.h runs but once its a lil more sturdy it will be good $$$...not that i care or giva f*** w/people say but I def value the feedback, critique and opinions of the CT MAX fam and i woulda ripped this off my car ASAP if yall said it looks dumb as hell lol but now I got the green light ima perfect it to make it look a lil more smooth. So far everybody says it looks good on the car a few dudes thought I ordered it  I was thinkin bout paintin' it but I think the black gives it a more aggresive/race car look

Sci, if you painted it, I don't think the paint would hold. The paint would be next to impossible to stick because it is such a flexible material, it would pretty much flake off. I would keep it black. If you are going to do this mod you gotta leave it black, it def looks better.

I guess if you put the additives for bumper flex and all that in the paint it may hold, but don't even bother.

you should do a how to for this mod

yeah u def right on that Zach I prolly couldnt match the paint perfect anyway I painted my grill and its slightly a different blue but i think the fact it gotta lil purple tint to it makes it look hot and stand out for sum reason I d k if i would have the same results w/the custom lip + your right about it flakin off and look corny as hell in like a week I like the black look too so I guess we gonna leave like that

Hell yeah I feel u on that, that way if other 5th gens wanna get lipped up they can do it w/pure eaze I called Kendall and when I told him what I did he said he will do it if he likes the look if so I will do a step by step w/picz if someone doesn't post the how to 1st...to keep 100% the molding is so shape-able there are few diff ways to fit it so depending on ya style u can kinda add ya own swag or style to it to get the look u want. I fit it up few diff ways holding it up w/duct tape till i gott it how i liked fit it, took the duck tape off and the final result is what u see in the picz B) I think i still gotta a lil more to do as far as makin' it sturdy and makin it look seamless but so far so good...

Oh yeah like I said it is very mold-able so I think this mod will work on pretty much any car so those who have 3rd gens or 6th gens can prolly fit this too...

yeah...i mean this mod iz so universal that i dnt think there is one way to do it lol but I could prolly point u in the rite direction and may b u can fit it even better for example i used some double sided tape to hold the shit in place but that ended up being to weak for my driving style ;) and too weak for all this dumb ass rain so i used guerilla tape and the shit iz mad sturdy now u cant even tell in the picz and in real life it looks fresh (IMO) u can see that I taped it but the way I cut the tape is evenly makes it look tuff for NYC i gotta a lil suttin I wanna try with this carbon fiber tape and I might redo that with the carbon look  I need ya ### so pm me and we can take it from there...
