Aite after changing my inner/outer tie rods, tire balancing etc. i am still getting this dumb ass vibration from my pass. front wheel at certain speeds and it a f**kin thorn in my ass i mean some of the vibration went away after changin' all of the above but i still feel it and AFTER TWO MASTER TECHS and various other people who know cars well cant diagnos the problem i guess my only other option is to send the car out to a tuning shop who is familiar w/lowered cars + aftermarket suspensions to fix the problem im chasing. I called XX Tuning in E.Hartford and they want $95.00 for diagnostics but said that will go toward the cost of repair if i get the work done there what are sum other reputable shops that can diagnos my prob??? I might just pay to find out the prob and fix it myself or i mite just have whoever do it so when i get my car back it will be in damn near perfect shape plz help!!!

Did you check for runout on the tire. Jack the the car up and place a block of wood 1/4" from the tread of the tire. Then spin the tire by hand. If the tire is true, the distance between the block and the tire should not change as the tire rotates. If the gap shrinks and grows the tires will need replaceing.
The axle and brake rotor can also be sources of vibration.

Why don't we get together check it out and go from there.
Also rotate your tires and see if the vibration changes or goes away.

I'm sure if I drove your car and looked at it I would be able to figure it out.

Bill- plz lets get together asap although u have never touched my car i heard u are the man when it comes to these nissan cars so please sprinkle me with your good graces!!!
Bryan- the tire check is a def FAIL cuz i need a new pass. front tire like real bad but I don't think thats the main source of this problem...outta all the the things I checked I never checked my brake rotor so may be thats a start i replaced the axel but now need a new one becuase the re-furb axel i got from napa had a pinhole in it and is leakin cv joint grease on the inside of my wheel but even when i changed it it still was makin that noise...

Damn dude, Your having some bad luck. Old worn out tires almost always cause vibration though. I would maybe borrow someone elses wheels for a test drive just to rule it out. You're welcome to use mine.

Throw on your sisters wheels and see if it's gone. Take some pics too because the R6's will look pretty good on your car.

Yeah im a try switchin wheels to see if thats part of the prob and im not sayin your diagnostic could b wrong cuz u havent driven my car yet but i think the prob a lil deeper than a worn tire but i'll try it anyway thanx homie

Hey bro, let me know how u make out, cuz having the same problem
Sci - July 22, 2009 06:58 PM (GMT)
Well...after having a bunch of car nutz,a couple of techs, and a few nissan gods look at my car to no result, i finally took it to a known spot in hartford called Mike and Tony's( some of u know about there Track ready NSX and 11 sec E55 supercharged Benz) they ran me $30 to put it on the lift and it was determined that my motor mounts are causing my vibration/shuddering/shaking issues at diff speeds. It kinda makes sense to me cuz sometimes when i turn on/off the car i feel a lil hard type vibration for a split second but never linked it to the prob i had, they said they had another max that had the same issues and similar to me changed a bunch of front end components(inner/outer tie rod, upper strut mounts, ball joints etc.) and had no success they said they went on a whim changed the motor mounts and WALLAH the prob wz solved so i really hope this is the cure cuz im anxious to enjoy my car again to the fullest + i cant wait to talk shit to the fuckin hatin ass faggotz at my school try n to convince me that it waz my ride height that wz doin it they all drive pure buckets and be mad my car is fresh, gets trophies/chix,and i stay comin there wit new parts and ideas to upgrade my 5.5 gen while they r gettin dropped off to class by mommy/girlfriend...im lookin at energey suspension motor mounts for an upgrade are these hard to do??? wanna get it in before NYC...if i do these/power steering hose my car should be back nice and sturdy
BlackDiamond - July 22, 2009 10:52 PM (GMT)

thatz wasup...if u luv ya max this is sumthin u dnt wanna miss to keep it real wit u i been gettin my car ready all year for this one day to me this is like the damn superbowl for Maximas lol this is where your car will be judged, scrutinized, appreciated and complimented by others that are addicted to the Nissan culture just like you (and me) this will be my 3rd year in a row going and i went more as a spectator the 1st and 2nd yr but this year its def competition cuz i feel like my car has upgraded enuff to be mentioned w/the best of the NYC Max's but every year they come out w/some of the dopest Maximas so i know that the comp will be fierce regardless but at the end of the day its all love between nissan enthusiast...Mass aint that far so u should come down so we can roll out even deeper
