Thank you bryan, and yes, it does love to leak. I took a look at it the other day and literally watched it drip oil out of it. Does it screw in? is it threaded? or does it just pop in or out?

It screws in. When you remove it oil will come out even if you've drained the pan, so be ready with a drain pan.

Thank you. Im gonna have to replace that asap, or just see if maybe its loose..is there some kind of special wrench to get it out? or just twist it?
turboa32 - July 3, 2009 03:12 PM (GMT)
there are sockets specifically for the oil pressure switch

OK. so I got the part today and was a little confused on why it didnt come with a gasket..is there suppose to be one? Now I don't understand how the old one could be leaking, im thinking maybe its just loose?

it doesnt need a gasket. it threads in on an 1/8" pipe thread. put some thread sealent on the threads and screw it in.
