will a 5th gen maxima intake manifold fit on a 4gen max
2000-2001 only with some modifications

Your lower manifold will have to be drilled and tapped to accept the 2000vi because the bolt holes are not in the same spots. Also the EGR is not in the same location so it will need to be modified or blocked off. The other option is to use the 2000 lower manifold, but that requires using 5th gen injectors, harness and fuel rails.
Either way you will need an RPM switch to trigger the secondary runners. Most people use the MSD.
dont forget the adapter plates for the IACV and the throttle body..
