why do people black out the plate number? Just wondering because I never hide mine when I post pics online.

Just a good habit because if people read what "mods" or security you have on the car it might make theft easier if they remember the plate.
It's really up to you. Whenever I PhotoShop pictures I will edit the plate because I think it makes the car look best.
