Ok, I've been dealing with DB Motorsports in Weathersfield, CT and they are willing to do timing advances for us for $40/car. The shop gave us two days to stop by so, if you are interested, please post which day you want to come down and get your advance done. You can pay the shop directly once the advance is done. Please PM me if you need anymore info.

I seriously don't think that anyone can tell the adavance. Unless they plug it in and not just with a scanner, they would be able to tell. But it would be something they need to look for. I doubt they will. It will not harm your car. this is not like a intake where you can see it done phyiscally. So I would do it. Warranty or not.

sorry, nobody got it done. a couple of us went down there this morning and the place couldn't figure out how to do it nor did they have the right tools to do it. i gotta find another place or at least see if the shop was bullshitting me about it.

40 bucks for something that literally takes 30 seconds? who sees that as a good price and how many degrees of advance are they actually gonna get you?

I think it's like 2 degrees. I've heard it's still within the stock qualifications per the FSM.

The car has 15 degrees and can bump it up to 17

I think $20 is a much more reasonable price for about 0.008hours of labor, but that's not to say I wouldn't pay a little more if I actually found someone to do it.

so how did the advance work? any difference i know i didnt get too much of one in mine but hell its a quick upgrade
