In light of Irelands exisiting policies and their smoking ban, is that something you want to see here in mainland UK?

If you asked me this 10 months ago, I would have said no.. having stopped smoking for a few months now, i don't know.

I agree that we have a nanny state, but when I go out to pubs and clubs now, I actually don't like the smoke, makes my throat sore.. so from a non-smoker's point of view I would say yes, however, having been until recently, a confirmed chain smoker, I don't think you will get lots of support for it
