Hey guys,
SPOILERS BELOW!
I watched Spider Man 3 the other day, and I must say that I wasn't that impressed. For one thing, the special effects were top notch, and most of the fight scenes were pretty cool and fun. But I think the bad things cancel this out. All most everytime Peter Parker fights in his spidey suit -he loses his mask. Out of the 5 minutes he actually wears the costume in this movie, he has to lose his mask almost every time. And at the end, where there are movie cameras everywhere, no one captured his exposed face, no one.
The fight with Venom was anti-climatic, simply using sound to defeat him after exchanging a couple punches. Venom was a little underused in this film I'd say.
And then we have Peter turning goth (considered evil in the movie) after being absorbed by venom's (evil) personality. Parker struts down the streets of the city, catching the disgusted eyes of many women. I couldn't stop laughing during these scenes -spider man is more funny when he's evil.
I found this movie to be the funniest of the three movies. The scenes with the newspaper company had many hilarious moments, but I found the movie lacking when it came to Spider Man's spiderness and super hero moments.
I have one nit pick as well -Harry recieved a gernade in the face at point black range and it didn't kill him, just scarred him. Venom, recieves a gernade at point black range too, right at the end of the film, and dies. I thought a mutant alien would be more pron to surviving a gernade but I guess I was wrong.
And just one fun fact: It looks like every Spider Man movie ends with a funeral. I kind of thought that was intresting...
In conclusion, this movie was a comedy (in my opinion of course :P ), and not an epic.
Woo, total rant. Anyways, I hope to hear some of your guy's opinions on the film, and to see wether of not you liked/disliked it too. ;)
Peter doesn't turn goth in the movie, as many has humorously said before, he turns
EMO!Unfortunatly, I have not seen the second film, (the same goes for Pirates of the Carribean, urk) so it would feel strange to see the third before the second. Going to wait. Hopefully not too long.
Hehe, all my friends thought he turned goth because of how his hair changed. I guess he was actually emo lol.
I think you should see POTC 2 anyways, it wasn't that bad IMO, but nothing beats the first movie. The same happened with Shrek 3, it wasn't even as close to classic as the first one. I think final trilogy movies have a lot to live up to, and sometimes we expect too much. ;)

Gothic (The guy to the left)
EmoMaedhros, who didn't really have anything to add but hates it when people mix up Goth and Emo :P
For some reason the first link is forbidden for me. But I now understand the difference between emo and goth -thanks Maedhros!
Spider-man 3 wasn't up to the level of the second film, but it wasn't near as bad as the first. It was just okay, in my opinion. Something that bugged me while watching it was the huge number of continuity errors, many of which would have been so easy to fix.
