Title: What do you want to see?
Freya_Reborn - February 23, 2009 07:06 AM (GMT)
Okay, since there are some conflicting interests and some people don't even know what to do in Empire of the Black Sun (Black Hole Sun, won't you come... and wash away the pain... black hole sun *getting carried away in song*) I posted this section. What do you want to see in the story. Whether it be a slight spoiler or just a certain direction you want the story to progress in.
Personally I have some funny plans for Sequoia with this whole pod idea. I just need another chance to put roots in, but on a human type this time.

myself im not relly sure where i want it to go, but i also have some funny plans for my character.
i also want to see how much trouble his curiousity can and will get him into.
they say curiousity killed the cat well lets see how much it takes lol
one thing i can say playing a character who does not speak well is hard for me so i may improve his speach over the course of this RPG.
gradually of course, as he listens to people talk and how they speak he learns how to talk better.

I'm sure you can get in a lot of mischief on the missions they go on. I hear there are chandeliers in the governor's mansion. *wink wink idea wink*

I have been reading it and it dose seem to be getting all mixed into a open stroy.

im the cause of the probelm... im dropping out......
Tigerious - February 24, 2009 03:01 AM (GMT)
how you causing the problem and why drop out??
god of death - February 24, 2009 04:01 AM (GMT)
i know my style contrast with everyone elses, im just not up to parr with everyone's detailed posts. and it seems to me that im the cause because i interfer with people when they are tryint to do something improtant to there character

and here i thought i was the one lagging in detail or being overly detailed. though im not new to RPGing i am fairly new at online text based role play. also i guees if your at fault then so am i cause we are both trying to get the two groups together as one to make it easier to follow. unless as usal im missing the point.
wall banging!!
Freya_Reborn - February 24, 2009 06:37 AM (GMT)
Its not your fault. My character is so not combat friendly it isn't funny. Its okay if you're not as detailed, you're not the only one writing this RPG.

i just dont want to slow people down. i was trying to get the two groups together to ease the reading and uncomplicate teh story plot

Heh, regardless of whether you're doing the story harm or not (which, by the way, you are not), we'd hurt more for your absence than for your presence. An RP with no combatants would... well, it'd take the heart out of the thing.
Moving on, I'll go ahead and post a few spoilers.
You have a couple of directions I've built into the story - whether or not you pursue any of them is your choice:
- Investigate the assassins, and discover their supernatural cult
- Leave town and learn about the surrounding country, and why the denizens of the wilderness are becoming more sinister and dangerous (You'll eventually learn about this from Verrill)
- Take part in the invasion during the Emporer's speech
- Investigate the nobles 'n such, find out what the disturbance in the Game of Thrones is
- Learn about the border scuffle to the north, and why both empires are fighting so violently over what was previously considered a worthless scrap of land
- Join a guild or university to pick up new skills
- Hire yourselves out for money and better equipment
- Eat your own spleens (Yum)
- Play Space Empires V (O.o)

sounds like a plan. Rook's path takes him to the assassins as thats what the file was all about.
Zkin - February 25, 2009 03:27 AM (GMT)
Hey - to be honest, with the coming chaos... it doesn't really matter whether or not you pursue it, the only folks who'd be angry will have a lot of other stuff on their minds.
god of death - February 25, 2009 03:54 AM (GMT)
i guess i just like to stick to the plot that delevopled for rook, as i kinda set him up with that. doesnt matter what everyone else does
Tigerious - February 25, 2009 05:43 AM (GMT)
hmm not sure what to do. my character dont undersand money so making money is out. though joining a guild or learning about the wilderness thing sounds up his alley (especially the wilderness)
deffinately though leave town is a major possibility as my charcter is wanted and loves to explore.
but not before his curiousiy gets him into more trouble lol
Freya_Reborn - February 25, 2009 05:45 AM (GMT)
lol. Well my plan might be able to work that other way... *taps chin and walks back to the drawing board of random ideas*
