The vastly outnumbered hero fights off the forces of hell as they come from the portal onto the deserted base.

This looks like an alright movie to see, I wouldn't say it's a bad idea to go see it in theaters, but maybe they should have casted someone else instead of The Rock, IMO. he's a good actor but I feel like someone else would have been better to play the leading role in "DOOM". And it should be a good "thriller" to have people jumping, but not scared for their lives, overall my Rating Preditions are:

*4/5 stars

I totally agree, maybe they should try Tom Jane or Paul Walker.

 Paul Walker as Sarge, yeah I can really picture that.

I saw Doom last night and it wasn't too bad, i just wish it was more true to the game with more monsters and the Cyberdemon, but oh well. Not enough weapons in the film either.

I did really love the first person Doom view mode towards the end of the film, that was awesome and the creature effects on the Imp and Pinky were well made.
