The Death metal pioneer Atheist announced an official reuinion with the addition of concerts in the Evolution festival in Italy in July and in W:O:A in Germany in August

Atheist is reuniting after 13 years and will currently be with the "clasic group" of:
Kelly Shaefer - guitar/vocals, Rand Burkey - guitar, Tony Choy - Bass and Steven Flynn - Drums.

Atheists record company Relapse released not long ago the bands 3 albums - Piece of Time (1988), Unquestionable Presence (1991) and Elements (1993).
It is still unknown if Athiest will record a new album.
