not even same style
while slayer bring it with a more trashy style of speed metal
children of bodom are on the melodic side of trash with tiny touchs of black (dont argue its my view)

{HR}Blood is right, COB is okay, but in a contest between COB and Slayer, Slayer would win by a landslide, Slayer is soooooooooooooooo much better than COB Lyric wise and Slayer has alot more music experience that COB by far!
