Immortal, one of the most known Black Metal bands in the world, that had split up a couple of years ago is reuniting!!!!
In an interview given to a German paper ("Hard Rock") by Abbath (vocalist of the band) he said" I didnt want to say this, but I dont give a fuck, we will return, stronger then before. I met with Horgh (Drummer) for the first time in a year, he had built a house near here, in a few days we will begin rehearsing classics from "Bllizard Beasts:, I am really into this idea"
when asked about a formal date he replied" Immortal are an eternal frost, a year earlier or a year later, it doesnt matter".
NOTE - I translated from a hebrew metal site so forgive me if its not totally correct translation wise.

Immortal Talk About Possible Reunion
posted Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 03:37:39 AM by Gothique. (thanks blabbermouth)
Immortal frontman (when they were together) Abbath is talking about Immortal possibly reuniting. He is in the studio at the moment recording the debut album for 'I' but he spoke to German magazine 'Rock Hard' about a possible reunion.
Here is a statement from Abbath: "We will come back, stronger than ever. I recently met with Horgh (old Immortal Drummer), for the first time in over a year. He's built his new house here in Norway, right around the corner. In the next few days we will begin to rehearse our old 'Blizzard Beasts' classics. I'm already really excited about the idea."
When asked if this was just a money making ploy Abbath said: "We're not coming back for the money. If we had been only interested in the cash, we wouldn't have allowed Immortal to split in the first place."
Abbath has also said that if they do reunite then they will also tour.
sounds sweet, can't wait!
