Yes it's a old game but it's the only MMORPG i can stand.

I started a new file on it because all my old guys are dead, I just started a level 15 summon necro but I'm gonna stop him and make a Boner Necro instead.

i made a bone necro & he did some pretty 1337 damge but died quite a bit

i no longer play on b-net, too many idiots & hacks (dupes etc.) single player offers a pretty hard challenge, you don't have access to mules & shit and have to use what equitment you find & you can make it harder with the 'PLAYERS 8' cheat. open b-net has it's moments, i like popping in there every now & then to see some paladin with 40, 000+ skeletons & 200 aura's, always makes me chuckle

I still play when I get bored. Had to start from scratch again when my 2 level 99's got deleted when I changed the hard drive on my computer. Kind of let it go after that..

Yeah...too bad your characters die after...90 days of non-activity? And they're not deleted just because you swap harddrives. Your account will still exist with them in it.

I had a level 87 barbarian that was unbeatable. Enigma armor, Andarial's Visage helm, dual BOTD swords, 2 Bul-Kathos wedding rings, Mara's Kaleidoscope amulet, IK boots (unfortunately) and I forgot what gloves.

Then I had an awesome level 89ice sorc. 5k blizzard. 1.2k orb. HOTO and CTA for weps in the #1/#2 slots. 2 Monarch shields which is +2 all skills each slot. I transferred those gloves over from my barb to my sorc. Mara's Kaleidoscope amulet, 2 soj, Chains of Honor armor, loads of other shit. With my Magic Find gear on I had over 700% mf.

I realise that, but I lost the save files so I couldnt use them anymore.

I have a lvl 85 frenzy barb (still leveling),

he's alright, i made him with axe mastery which i deeply regret now (axes suck!)

I've gotten a completely new computer and still been able to use my characters =/

Me & Clown just started some new Chars & towards the end of Act 2, Clown & myself had a right royal laugh, which i managed to snap a screenie of.

and nec...make it a poison and bone nec. max bone spear, teeth, and add a few to bone wall and bone prison. then get some high runes and trade for enigma :P
and an arm of king leoric wand. that thing OWNS

I have chars that can rush but i'm not because Rushing is boring.

Also, i'm making a strafer, so titan's would be somewhat.....useless to me.

It was purely a freak accident, we weren't really taking the game seriously (the best way to play diablo), so clown was running up to mummies and beating the crap out of them with his shitty wand (we were using players x) purely for shits & giggles, anywho he ran up to some monster which poisoned him then retreated behind me & his minions not really bothering to heal himself as the monsters were no where near him & then he decided to kick in some urns.....with bugger all health. The rest is history :D

Its people like you who I want to smack the shit out of, lol. I have a 89 or 90 sorce, I don't remember which level. All I have thats good is an Occy, which took a while to get. Besides that, the only thing that I have found was an UM rune. I found that myself, with pretty much no magic find. lol. My orb does like 394 in damage? lol. my lightningstorm does like 1k or so? I remember how to play the game, I just have shit for items for starting out again.

I'm thinking of starting out again with my sorce and re-doing it though, since I am useless at times. I am useless when dudes that are immune to cold fall in my lap. TStorm doesn't work quite as well as it used to.

im purely ice. maxed ice mastery, ice bolt, orb, and blizzard. then a few to attributes.





My old barb was the shiznit. but then i made my sorc which owned all but cold immunes.
im gonna start a fire sorc.

Pure skill tree sorc's are strictly for realm only, because they can't kill a certain percent of monsters that are immune to whatever tree they are using, other people will, you can't get very far in SP-hell with a pure ice sorc. I always find it amusing when Fire sorcs brag about how 1337 their damage is yet can't kill a measly fallen, put's it in perspective huh?

@Headshot, Runes aren't based on magic find, pure luck finding the rare ones (note i said 'finding' not trading), if your also interested you can group with me & clown & see that your actually a great player compared to us :D

I refuse to play on bnet now for many reasons, mainly due to the people on the bnet realms who think that every char build MUST use an Arkaines or BOTD but also the lack of challenge that it offers now, i've made every cookie cutter/mainstream build there is to make & now i'm making Variant builds that offer some degree of challenge as i am taking into account all things people don't on the realms such as immunes because i will be the sole killer in Hell & everything will have to die of something, that usually being me & not some u3er 1337 lance barb.

Well, it's more fun than doing constant Baal runs just to gain that 1/30 of a level before getting swarmed by that pack of SS/C death lords on the way to the throne room & starting the exp all over.

That makes sense. Its been 2 years since i have played this game. still getting used to it (my only defense).

Yeah, thats one thing I hate about BNet... You have to have this and that to have fun.. I have been thinking about just making a regular character not online and seeing what i can do. Crossed my mind today actually, after I got bored of bnet. Again.

I run backwards, to leave Dec kill them, with the help of my few skeletons and a clay golem.

so, I'm standing there, watching the fight (in true necro style).
I'm absolutly addicted to kicking christ out of baskets, urns, anything like that. so I kick a few.

before you start adding to skelly any more, max out skeleton mastery.
once you have it COMPLETELY maxed out, then max skeletons and add a point to mage every once in a while.
golems don't do shit compared to uber skelly :P
