Title: Pick a title

OK, between New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, and Avengers:The Initiative, if you were to recommend one of those to me, which one would it be and why?

I get the primarary differences between the titles, New being about the team on the run, Mighty being the 'official' team with the action and The Initiative about training and such but which one is the 'best'?

I'd have recommended New back when it was covering the fugitive team Japan and started the whole Skrulls Among Us Thing, back as I understand it, Mighty has been covering the team conspiracy from the begining.

I prefer New, I read New and Mighty, but I've heard good things about all three. It's really more about who you want to read about more.

I don't read any, but here's how I look at it:

New = I absolutly hate the art, and hate seeing Wolverine anywhere.

Mighty = At first this seemed like it was going to be a more classic "heroes fighting over the top evil" kind of book, but from what I gather it's not really that fun. If it was what I thought it was going to be...a series somewhat distanced from the dark greyness of Civil War in favor of a more superheroey book, I'd have given it a shot.

Initiative = This is the only one I've considered reading. Very JSA-ish feel to the concept...older heroes, some of which are pretty obscure, train new young heroes. Then there's the fact that Dan Slott writes it. Now that I know the Irredeemable Ant-Man's showing up in it, I might actually try that issue.

Well, as I'm not currently reading any of these titles, I'd got with New... because I like my comics to be about heroes. Not government employees.

Training is almost over for our cadets. Some will graduate. Some will washout. And, yes, some WILL die! It all starts here, in the Initiative's biggest story to date! And with the clock ticking on the first class of recruits, get ready to meet the next batch! Including new Marvels, old Marvels, at least one SKRULL, and...THE IRREDEEMABLE GIANT-MAN? Also, with the Gauntlet out of commission, just wait until you meet Camp Hammond's new Drill Instructor... he's a real Taskmaster!

...I'm gonna try that issue. I have a hard time believing someone can use Ant-Man as well as Kirkman has, but if anyone can it'd be Slott.

Hm, tough choice here seeing as to how the budget is at the moment. I've read all their entries on wiki and all three have their pluses and negatives going for them.

But if Taskmaster does show up in Initiative, I might go for that one plus maybe one of the Avengers titles. It might actually come down to which character(s) I like for I've always liked Iron Man and Wonder Man but seeing Spidey, Iron Fist, and Strange on a team is great as well.

Damn, decisions, decisions.......
