Title: MMORPG!

Hey... Thought you lot would be interested in this...

I have just recently managed to get an open source mmorpg (mass multiplayer online role playing game) script running on my server... I plan on modifying it and making my own.

Its basically travelling around towns and wilderness, killing monsters, gaining exp, using magic/weapons, buying stuff, trading with players, banking money, stats (hp, mov, int, stam, ac, etc...) and something to do with reputation points (?) and an entire messaging system... its generally a D&D affair.

I'm going to need someone to play it and test it out... The graphics are all quite basic, and obviously its going to need a new name... but you're all welcome to have a pootle around it:

Try this address: http://www.l-o-k-i.com/phaos/

... if that doesn't work very well, this one aparently works better: http://lokinet.no-ip.com/phaos/

Have fun! :D

Alas, World of Warcraft is a harsh mistress.... if she found out I was even LOOKING at another MMORPG...... I dread to think of the consequences...... hush... I think she's looking this way.... *whistles nonchalantly*

Trelaine, always always play the dice game, get loadsa money and buy equipment before attacking anything... and even then, make sure its only small level 1 jobbies. :D

I've found the game takes a lot of working at to start off... I may create a few very low stat critters for new starters.

Awww c'mon Filmy... the Mistress won't know, I won't tell... :D

New additions to the game include a sorta score table of experience points and money, located in town halls... and also, THE GAME HAS A PROPER NAME! Welcome to Zeitgeist! :D

D-Ice D-ice Baby......I find tanking up on loads of white potions and that attacking swarms of bats is fractionally successful as a tactic although expensive on the potions....

Just FYI: The game is back up and running, and theres been a few changes while its been off!

It should also be a bit faster as I have splashed out on a new faster connection for the new house.
