We have been looking for him for eighteen months, without him out plans have stalled. Last month we found him. His essence is trapped in a transport circle of all places. I suppose that’s to be expected since he was trapped when a group of soul casters changed a transport circle from a death circle to a life one. Anyway, we need his spirit to be re-united with his body and brought back to the world.
As you know the war with the T’cra has stalled, neither side able to gain much ground on the other. This cannot continue, we are masters of the world now and we must triumph. We plan to perform a ritual to empower our undead armies, making them stronger than ever before, able to sweep aside the T’cra and then descend upon the remnants of the living races, finally making this world our own. Unfortunately to do this we need Thretch as the Ritual Master to the Lich king the ritual cannot proceed without him. Now we know where to find him you must regain his spirit regardless of the cost. In the mean time we will negotiate with the air elementals as we think his body must be trapped in the transporter network somewhere but they are being very difficult. We suspect that they do not want the ritual carried out and as such are trying to hide the body for as long as possible. The warp creatures are also a hazard that we have to take seriously, several teams have been lost as they explore the transporter network.
As an aside, keep your eyes open for a magical sceptre by the name of Kithala. Our sources said that is has been uncovered, some of us remember it from last time round, it could be a great asset to the undead cause, it could also be used to trap the spirit of Thretch if his body is destroyed before we can locate it. We do not know where it is or what the holder of it intends but watch out for it.
